WSC attended the India Nuclear Energy Conference organized by UBM on October 20th and 21st in Nehru Center, Worli, Mumbai, India. During the well-attended conference, WSC hosted attendees in our booth and provided a presentation on "Use of Simulation in Emerging Nuclear Energy Countries". The presentation covered the use of simulation in training and engineering and it included a summary of WSC initiatives with the IAEA in delivering generic high fidelity full scope simulators for various types of reactors. The presentation also covered the progressive use of simulation starting from generic simulators to custom replica simulators which are used for training, human factors, procedure development, engineering design and validation/verification of plant behavior.
